Nutritional Supplement For Supporting Renal Function in Dogs and Cats
Rubenal is
indicated for use in the health management of chronic renal disease in dogs and
cats. Normal kidney function is dependent upon normal
nephron and interstitial tissue structure. When the balance of renal health is
tipped, this structure can change and fibrous tissue can accumulate.
Rubenal is the
first palatable veterinary formulation of Rheum available for use in both dogs
and cats. It can be used alongside special renal diets, kidney medications,
Azodyl and Epakitin.
The tablet can be
crushed and added to food.
Always ensure
fresh water is available for your pet.
Rubenal is made
from the roots of the Rhubarb plant Rheum Officinale.
- Rubenal is
the first product aimed specifically the fibrotic component of Chronic
Kidney Disease (CKD). Fibrosis is the formation of scar tissue due to
injury or long-term inflammation.
- Rubenal's
unique mode of action makes it the product of choice at the first signs of
Proteinuria (excess protein in the urine). Proteinuria is the first
indicator of possible kidney damage.
- Slows
progression to end stage renal disease
- Palatable
formulation
-
