L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid which plays a vital role in the metabolism of fat. Its a nutrient that helps the body turn fat into energy by functioning as a transporter of fatty acids into the mitochondria, the metabolic furnace of the cell.

Carnitine it is produced primarily in the liver and kidneys from the amino acids lysine or methionine and stored in the skeletal muscles, heart, brain, and sperm..
