Glucosamine and Creatine play a role in the maintenance of joint function in dogs.

A combination of Glucosamine HCl and Creatine Monohydrate fortified with minerals and other nutrients.

SynoviCre is a nutritional supplement containing Glucosamine and Creatine. Glucosamine, a naturally occurring amino sugar found in all tissues of the body and an integral part of the "glue" which holds tissue cells together, is necessary for the production of key connective tissue components that replenish and maintain articular cartilage. Glucosamine returns viscosity to the synovial fluid and enhances its ability to carry vital nutrients necessary to rebuild cartilage and insulate the bone from friction and cushion the joint in movement. Glucosamine has also been shown to inhibit free radical production, considered responsible for the biochemical events such as aging and tissue degeneration. Creatine enhances the energy required to fuel the contraction of muscle, allowing the muscle to strengthen and provide support to the joint.

RECOMMENDED AMOUNTS:

Initial Administration (4-6 week period)

5 to 15 lbs. - 1/4 scoop per day.

15 to 30 lbs. - 1/2 scoop per day.

30 to 60 lbs. - 1 scoop per day.

60 to 100 lbs. - 2 scoops per day.

Over 100 lbs. - 2 1/2 scoops per day.

Maintenance Administration (After initial 6 week period)

Initial administration may be reduced to the following levels:

5 to 15 lbs. - 1/4 scoop every other day.

15 to 30 lbs. - 1/2 scoop every other day.

30 to 60 lbs. - 1/2 scoop per day.

60 to 100 lbs. - 1 scoop per day.

Over 100 lbs. - 1 1/2 scoops per day.
